Let’s Encrypt is a free, automated, and open certificate authority (CA), run for the public’s benefit. It is a service provided by the Internet Security Research Group (ISRG).
They give people the digital certificates they need in order to enable HTTPS (SSL/TLS) for websites, for free, in the most user-friendly way they can.
They do this because they want to create a more secure and privacy-respecting Web.I’ll show you how you can install Lets Encrypt in cPanel.
In order to install SSL from cPanel, the server must have cPanel control panel and, Lets Encrypt installed.
First login to your cPanel control panel, use https://yourdomain.com/cpanel then, navigate to Security tab or, search Lets Encrypt.
Click on lets Encrypt and you will see Issue a new certificate-
Click on issue and a new page will open with wildcard options, SSL validation method options. You don’t have to change any option, just click on issue and, your SSL will install automatically in your cPanel / Domain.
After installation go back and, you can manage / delete your SSL or, re-issue your SSL again.
Remember, if you can’t see lets encrypt in your cPanel contact your hosting provider and, ask them to active Lets Encrypt from their WHM control Panel.
